Lyrics

Verse 1

Love as strong as death
Died that we might live
Grace and blood He shed
Reckoning our sin

Pre Chorus

But the story did not end
He died but He rose again

Chorus

Our King is alive and well
He trampled the gates of Hell
He conquered death and set us free
Darkness you will not prevail
Cause He reigns and He always will
No grave can hold the risen King
He is alive and well

Verse 2

Hope was all but lost
The day our Savior died
There upon a cross
His arms were open wide

Pre Chorus

But the story did not end
He died but He rose again

Chorus

Our King is alive and well
He trampled the gates of Hell
He conquered death and set us free
Darkness you will not prevail
Cause He reigns and He always will
No grave can hold the risen King

Bridge

He is here with us
Our King is here with us
The war is over Christ has won
There is no fear in us
'Cause our King is here with us
It is finished but He's not done

Chorus

Our King is alive and well
He trampled the gates of Hell
He conquered death and set us free
Darkness you will not prevail
Cause He reigns and He always will
No grave can hold the risen King

Chorus

Our King is alive and well
He trampled the gates of Hell
He conquered death and set us free
Darkness you will not prevail
Cause He reigns and He always will
No grave can hold the risen King
He is alive and well

MultiTracks Now Available for Let It Rise by Pursue Worship

Friday, October 6, 2017

Pursue Worship is a worship movement based out of Church on the Rock in Lubbock, Texas whose desire is to be a resource to the global, local church by writing and recording corporate worship music that crosses cultural and denominational boundaries. Their debut album Let It Rise was produced by Daniel MacKenzie, who is best known for producing artists like Bethel Music, Jesus Culture/Chris Quilala, Hunter Thompson, Gabriel Kansas, Renn, and Kari Jobe. This record is packed full of beautiful melodies, moving arrangements, and powerful moments in the presence of God.  We recently brought you the MultiTracks for "Still the King," "My Shepherd," and "Revival," and are now excited to let you know that all of the MultiTracks and the instrument parts in RehearsalMix are now available for the entire album.  Be sure to download your copy of Let It Rise today on iTunes.
