Lyrics

Verse 1

Come to Jesus all who labor
From Your strivings come and cease
Weary traveler bring your burdens
To the newborn Prince of Peace
Come to Jesus all who sorrow
In His name we find relief
There is healing for our struggle
He is comfort for our grief

Verse 2

Come as children to the manger
Cast our differences aside
Making room for one another
May we live as we'll abide
In His presence all together
Every nation tribe and tongue
Singing glory in the highest
Now our King has finally come

Chorus

Bind us together Lord
Bind us together Lord
Bind us together in love

Verse 3

Lamb of God now born to save us
To the cross You will prevail
Then in love You'll rise in power
Conquering King of death and hell
So let nothing come between us
Sin will have its way no more
For our hearts have seen the beauty
Of our great and mighty Lord

Chorus

Bind us together Lord
Bind us together Lord
Bind us together in love

Vamp

In love

Verse 4

Precious Jesus Promise Keeper
Set our minds on things above
All the wonder of this moment
And the glory still to come
Justice rolling like a river
Every wrong will be made right
We will stand as one forever
Sons and daughters of the Light

Tag

In His presence all together
Every nation tribe and tongue
Singing songs of our redemption
Free at last and finally home

Monday, November 25, 2019

People of the Earth's “Come to Jesus (Reconciliation Hymn),” produced by Chris Bevins (Jaci Velasquez, Salvador, Mark Schultz) is a Christmas worship hymn that is a prayer for unity and reconciliation in the midst of turmoil and division. Christmas is the celebration of God himself arriving to make peace and heal the divide between us and Him. Written by worship leaders David Moffitt, and Carl Cartee, and Dustin Fenison (of People of the Earth), the song is about reconciliation between God and us, and between each other. This song will be featured in an upcoming Christmas worship musical created by David Moffitt and the band and is the first release via an exclusive worldwide distribution deal with Capitol CMG.
