Verse 1

A God who is holy
Matchless in glory
Came down so humbly
And took on flesh
Perfect in nature
Yet chained like prisoner
Became obedient
Unto death
The greatest injustice
And the greatest love expressed
The King laid down His life

Pre Chorus 1

There was no other way
To bring us back
Your blood made a way
To restore that which was lost
Communion

Chorus

Once and for all
The spotless Lamb slain
The sins of the world
Taken away
The scarlet made white
I’m washed I am clean
Jesus thank You
Thank You for the Cross

Verse 2

They thought it was over
That He was defeated
Buried His body
In a tomb
But He didn’t stay there
He rose three days later
Now I’m alive with Him

Pre Chorus 1

There was no other way
To bring us back
Your blood made a way
To restore that which was lost
Communion

Chorus

Once and for all
The spotless Lamb slain
The sins of the world
Taken away
The scarlet made white
I’m washed I am clean
Jesus thank You

He’s broken all the shackles
The charges have been canceled
He who knew no sin became
Sin now we’re His righteousness

Bridge 2

Did you hear the veil split
Announcing a new covenant
Leave behind the bulls and goats
The debt’s been paid
We’re free it's done
