Lyrics

Verse 1

I opened a gift this morning
When I opened up my eyes
I'm ready to count each blessing
Oh it's good just to be alive
Lord it's good just to be alive

Chorus

I won't take for granted
This breath in my lungs
I'll savor Your mercy
With each rising sun
I can't see the future
But I see enough
To know I'm my Father's
And I I am loved

Verse 2

When my heart is
Blinded by darkness
Help me remember
All You have done
'Cause You've been faithful
Proven You're able
To send the shadows on the run
I'll watch them scatter
When morning comes

Chorus

I won't take for granted
This breath in my lungs
I'll savor Your mercy
With each rising sun
I can't see the future
But I see enough
To know I'm my Father's
And I I am loved

Bridge

This is the day
That the Lord has made
I will rejoice I will rejoice
The Maker of mornings
He knows my name
He is my joy my joy

Chorus

I won't take for granted
This breath in my lungs
I'll savor Your mercy
With each rising sun
I can't see the future
But I see enough
To know I'm my Father's
And I

Chorus

I won't take for granted
This breath in my lungs
I'll savor Your mercy
With each rising sun
I can't see the future
But I see enough
To know I'm my Father's
And I I am loved

New Album from Jason Gray - Order

Monday, September 16, 2019

Jason Gray has released his new album, Order. He shares, "The human spirit is something like a muscle in that it must be pushed to its limits and torn down in order to grow. Three words to describe this process of transformation are order, disorder, and reorder. I wrote some songs to explore these themes and decided to release them in three volumes: Order, Disorder, and Reorder, giving time and space for reflecting on one part of the journey before digging into the next." Jason shares with us below his story behind this project.
