Last week, Higher Vision WAKE, a pop worship band birthed from the NextGen movement of Higher Vision Church, released their EP titled Set the Pace.  “Everywhere you turn there is so much darkness” shares HVC Youth Pastor and songwriter Mark McGaffin. “In the absence of light, we wanted to write songs that would awaken faith, awaken hope, awaken love, awaken the plans and purposes God has for us, and ultimately shine a light in the darkness.” It was with this in mind that the EP came to life.  In tandem, the group has found an anthem verse in Romans 3:27-28 MSG, which talks about surrendering and allowing God to set the pace.
