David Andrew is an Australian born composer, songwriter and a talented musician - proficient in multiple instruments. He is no stranger to hard work and has made a name for himself, as one of Sydney’s most sought after session and live musicians, having produced and performed with local and international talent, including some X-Factor and The Voice contestants.
David has worked on multiple worldwide and local charting albums and played in some of the world’s largest arenas, to crowds of 30,000 strong.
His involvement with Hillsong Worship has seen him play on the international stage to massive crowds as a music director, keyboardist and vocalist.
He has also been involved in the Australian recording scene, recently producing and recording an album of lullabies that reached number 1 on the iTunes Children’s Music chart. And also engineering a track on the Top 5 Aria Charting album “The Positions” by the internationally acclaimed Sony artists, Gang of Youths, an album on which he also has some vocal credits.
David has previously spent 8 years as a trainer and lecturer at Hillsong College. Here he helped musicians learn to listen to each other and form strong ensemble principles. He was also responsible for teaching songwriting, musical analysis and music directing classes.
He as also recently become the Music Director for Jayesslee, a youtube musical duo with 1.9 million subscribers, and videos with 50+ million views.
2015 will see David travelling and working as a musician and speaker in Australia, America and Europe, with plans for all these areas plus Asia in 2016.
