New Single from Josh Lopez - "Don't Give Up"

CATEGORIES: News, Home Page, New Releases
San Antonio worship leader Josh Lopez has released a new single entitled "Don't Give Up" that he hopes will encourage people who are going through tough times and feel like giving up.  Years ago, when he was battling fear and depression, he made the decision not to give up on his dreams.  He pressed forward during times when he felt like giving up himself and trained for and successfully completed the Ironman Triathlon.  Now he hopes to reach out to others who may feel as he once did.  Josh comments, "Life is like a race.  There are beautiful moments and there are obstacles.  In fact, there are times where we want to give up, we want to throw in the towel.  But it's when we stay the course, it's when we press forward and persevere that we find joy, we find strength. And it's a crazy thing but those obstacles, those tough things in life, that's when we grow and that's when we take it to the next level. " "Don't Give Up" features Ricardo Sanchez and Louie Gutierrez.  It's a beautiful anthem that recognizes how God's grace carries us through anything we might face.  It helps worshippers to remember God's faithfulness and to persevere, relying on His strength and love.  The song declares, "I've come too far to give up now.  I'm pressing on to God's promise and plan.  And just when I thought I had reached the end, Your grace helped me stand.  I've come too far." It goes on to encourage, "Don't give up, keep on fighting.  God will make a way.  He will make a way." "My hope is that when people hear these songs, that they would be encouraged to keep on going, to stay the course," Josh says, "'Cause there is something so beautiful on the other side of that.  And God's purpose and His plan for your life is great and you're not a mistake so don't give up!"
