Worth Fighting For is the brand new release from Stellar Award winner and Motown Gospel artist, Brian Courtney Wilson. Produced by Motown Gospel VP of A&R Aaron Lindsey and recorded live at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Houston, TX, the album shares the message of God's faithfulness in the midst of life's obstacles.
With the release of the title track, "Worth Fighting For," Wilson took to social media, creating a campaign of encouragement, saying, "If life has led you to a fight that you feel like you’re losing…I want to convince you that your VICTORY is closer than you think! And while your fight continues, you have NEVER been in this fight alone. Our God is with you and His love for you never quits and neither should you! There is so much more Worth Fighting For." The song is uplifting, emphasizing that God's plan for us is so much greater than we could ever imagine and though this world is not our home, God's calling in our lives is truly worth fighting for.
"This Is The Day" takes the words of Psalm 118 and celebrates God's presence in our lives, rejoicing, "This is the day that the Lord has made and whatever happens, I will give You praise. You brought me out of darkness and You're with me all the way. This is the day, a brand new day. This is the day that the Lord has made!" "Our God Is Good" emphasizes that we can rely on God in all seasons of our lives for He is sovereign and He is good all of the time. "Wherever the need is where He will be. We don't just believe it, we've already seen it." The songs are memorable and singable, filled with joy, truth, and encouragement. Wilson says, "I love how real this album sounds.
