New Gospel Christmas EP from The Recording Collective

CATEGORIES: News, Home Page, New Releases
The Recording Collective™ is a new project started by the team here at MultiTracks.com with the simple goal of creating recordings that will be a resource to worship leaders and listeners in multicultural congregations around the world. Our goal is to bring musicians and singers together spanning across genres and languages to create highly creative and fresh congregational arrangements that will breathe new life into timeless songs for the Church. The Recording Collective’s first release is a Gospel Christmas EP titled Born is the King featuring Grammy® winning producer/programmer Chris Baker (Israel & New Breed) and vocalists Onaje Jefferson, Charlin Neal, and Christabel Clack. The EP begins with a lively arrangement of the Hillsong Christmas favorite “Born Is the King” which is a great service opener, along with the high-energy “Drummer Boy Medley” which combines “Little Drummer Boy,” “Joy to the World” and a musical vamp on that theme titled “He Brought Joy.” Don’t miss the incredible vocal arrangements on “Gospel Christmas Medley” which fuses “Silent Night,” “The First Noel,” and “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” into a seamless arrangement as well as Christabel Clack’s soulful rendition of the Audrey Assad/Chris Tomlin song “Winter Snow.” The album closes with a great rendition of “Christmas Worship Medley” by Israel Houghton that’s become a Christmas favorite for many congregations. It’s our hope that these songs are a blessing to you and your church this Christmas season. Be on the lookout for a full-length Gospel project from “The Recording Collective” in early 2017!
