MultiTracks Now Available from Robbie Seay

CATEGORIES: News, Home Page
We are now carrying MultiTracks from Psalms by Robbie Seay Band.  The band initially released this project on a series of 3 EPs, then re-released them all together on one LP.  As its name implies, Psalms takes its lyrics directly from God's word allowing worshippers to praise God as David did.  Robbie shares, "The Old Testament theologian Gordon Wenham said 'Singing or praying the Psalms is a performative act. Saying them to God alter's one's relationship in a way that merely listening does not.' Our hope is that you enjoy these new songs, store these Psalms within you and that together we sing and pray these Psalms in response to a loving and holy God." "Psalm 134 (Bless The Lord)" calls for worshippers to come together and lift their hands in praise to God, inviting all to "Come and bless the Lord, come and bless the Lord.  Come and bless the Lord all you servants of the Lord."  "Psalm 118 (Your Steadfast Love)" opens with the words of the first verse of Psalms 118, building upon a repeating phrase of "Oh give thanks to the Lord for He is good."  It segues into the pronouncement that "His steadfast love endures forever, forever He endures," worshipping as it repeats this exaltation to the end. A steady beat drives "Psalm 66 (You Are Great)" as the song gives testimony to God's greatness, telling of his deeds and praising His name.  Recognizing that all the earth will praise Him, it proclaims, "How glorious Your name, how awesome are Your ways for You are great, for You are great!"  "Psalm 3 (A Shield About Me)" opens with an instrumental section that sets a prayerful mood.  The song acknowledges God's protection and deliverance and recalls the times He has answered our cries, declaring "I will not be afraid, I will not fear, I will not fear for You oh Lord are a shield about me. You are my glory. You lift my head, You lift my head." These songs utilize truths that are as relevant today as they were when they were written and places God's word in the hearts of worshippers.  Check out all the Psalms on this album.  It is available for download on iTunes!
