Awakening Worship is the writing and recording band of New Life Worship Center which has 4 locations throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. They lead worship each week at these campuses as well as at Awakening, an explosive youth church. The band believes that worshiping Christ should be an overwhelming experience and that the most incredible music should be found within church. Their new release, A New Era represents the new sound God is giving to their church and encourages people to bring their most genuine and best worship to Him. With great adoration, it invites Him to move in us, singing, "So come and surround me now with Your glory God, I'm here for You. Like the sea rushing into shore, overtake my soul. I'm here for You." "Revival" reiterates this desire for God to move, reverently proclaiming His glory and majesty and seeking His presence, bring revival to both our hearts and our land. The chorus prays, "Show us Your glory, show us Your heart. We need revival burning in us. Fill us with wonder as we stand in awe. We need revival, start it with us."
