Part of the theology of "Jesus Is Better" involves the story of Jesus healing a boy with an unclean spirit in Mark 9. In verse 24, the boy's father cries out, "I believe; help my unbelief," capturing the struggle and desperation so many people face today. The song serves as a testimony of Jesus's greatness, acknowledging that He is greater than our sorrows or our comforts or anything else in this world, while also confessing the moments when we wrestle with doubt and asking Him to transform our hearts. With heartfelt praise, it proclaims, "Glory, glory, we have no other king but Jesus Lord of all. We raise the anthem, our loudest praises ring. We crown Him Lord of all."
"Love Shines" and "God Undefeatable," were both featured on Worship Together's New Song Cafe and are powerful anthems of praise that are perfect for the Easter season. "Love Shines" focuses on the unfathomable love that God has for us, which was demonstrated on the cross. The team writes, "The love of God is the greatest love we will ever know because the Scriptures tell us that love isn’t just something that our God feels or does, but love is something that God is. God is love. And because love is something God is and not just something that God does, His love for us will never change." Progressing from Jesus's death to His resurrection, the song praises the way His love shines at Calvary. Victorious and celebratory, "God Undefeatable" praises God for His grace and mercy.
