Indie Showcase: Closer by Rhema South Worship Monday, October 17, 2016 Rhema South Worship is the worship band of Rhema South Family Church in the South of Johannesburg, South Africa. Their desire is to see every person encounter the presence of God in their worship and honour of Him. The team began to write songs together after attending a Staff Retreat in 2015 and their vision is that their music would reach past their own church and extend itself in evangelism to those in their community and beyond. They share, "We trust that these songs can be used to touch the hearts of so many out there and can equip other churches to take their worship experience in their church to the next level." We are excited to feature their debut EP, Closer as our latest Indie Showcase.

Raju serves as the worship pastor at the New Life Fellowship Church in Mumbai, India, and is the lead vocalist and leader of India's The Presence Band. He has traveled extensively throughout India helping to establish worship bands and train worship leaders across the country and has led worship around the the world alongside well-known worship artists including Tim Hughes and Hillsong London. Yahovah is filled with strong melodies and messages of intimate worship and unconditional love. Raju shares, "All these songs are my way of responding to God's sustaining grace in my life."
