New Christmas Album from Christy Nockels - The Thrill of Hope Wednesday, November 30, 2016 Dove Award winning songwriter and worship artist Christy Nockels has released her debut Christmas album titled The Thrill of Hope. Christy teamed up with her husband Nathan Nockels to create the album and released it independently earlier this month following a funding campaign which gained the support of over 800 people through her website. She shares, “’The thrill of hope’ I thought to myself…this story is worth telling, yet again. There are still those who have never heard, those who have yet to see. Even if I could be a part of telling the story in such a way that one soul might know its worth this Christmas, one heart experiencing the hope of Jesus for the first time…it would all be worth it. One son or daughter hearing the song, for the first time, that is calling them home!” With scriptural references from Isaiah, Genesis, Micah, and more, Christy introduces a number of original seasonal anthems including "Advent Hymn" "Angels' Lullaby (Mary's Song)" and "Wrap This One Up" as well as new arrangements of favorite classics such as "Silent Night (Holding Us Now)" and "O Come O Come Emmanuel." The Thrill of Hope shares the Christmas story in a manner that's full of heart and is certain to have a great impact on the Church.
