Deliverance & Doubt - South of Royal

Friday, April 28, 2017Categories: News, Home Page, New Releases, English

South of Royal is a worship and alternative synth rock band based out of the Dallas Northway campus of The Village Church.  As a part of The Village Church Music, their vision is to create biblical, creative, diverse and formational music by the church for the church.  We are excited to bring you the MultiTracks for the band's debut album, Deliverance and Doubt.  This new project, which features a blend of electro-pop, power ballads and rock, takes an honest and fresh exploration into unbelief, giving voice to those who feel like they're stuck in the desert.  "He Maketh No Mistake" encourages us to place our trust in God while "You Remain Faithful" emphasizes that even in the midst of our struggles, He never fails us.  "Warrior" is an engaging modern-day Psalm that rejoices in God's power, praising "God is a warrior fighting for me, forever reigning in victory. He has defeated death and the grave, He’s overcome sin with the power to save." Sharing the heart behind this new album, worship minister Daniel Clay explains, "Hopefully it gives voice to the fight that we're in to lean less and less on our own understanding and to trust more and more in the sovereign Creator and Sustainer of the Universe, the Author and Perfector of our faith."  Deliverance and Doubt is now available on iTunes.  Pick up your copy today!
