Gavin Davis is worship pastor, producer and songwriter in the Washington, DC. area. Gavin was raised in southern Virginia where he developed a deep love for music, which was kind of a no-brainer because it was in his blood. He began singing in music ministry at his local church and with his multigenerational family Gospel quartet group at age 16. His college days birthed a desire for worship ministry that was stylistically new to Gavin. Since 2002, Gavin has a recording artist, music producer, worship leader and choir director and since 2014, he has been a full-time worship pastor.


Gavin is featured on many projects including McLean Worship’s Christmas Ep “Immanuel, God With Us” which debuted #2 on iTunes. Gavin’s two solo album releases, Your Way and I’ll Be Your Minister solidified his artistic and diverse sound. He continues to write songs and create music for the local church. Gavin continues to pastor, leading worship and young adults at McLean Bible Church in the DC area, regionally at various churches, conferences and special events.

Gavin’s passion for lifting up Jesus Christ is evident in his songwriting, singing and leading. Being led by the Holy Spirit is essential to his worship style and he is determined to encourage high praise to God. He holds Colossians 3:16 closely to his heart because he believes the goal for leading in the local church is to admonish the people with wisdom with songs that are rich in scripture and that offer real hope, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ while making melody to the Lord. Gavin is married to his wife, Talya and they have three beautiful children, Kyrah, Ariel and Gavin Jr.
