Two New Songs from Vertical Church Band

CATEGORIES: News, Home Page, New Releases
Over the last four years, Chicago-based worship collective Vertical Church Band has written and recorded a number of strong anthems that are now being sung in churches all over the world.  Frontiers is the band's newest project, recorded live at Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadows, IL, and set to release later this month on July 29.  The team shares about where God has been leading them as they took a season to write for this latest release, "Rather than a new direction, God has supplied a fresh path to the same place we were already trying to go. As is His custom, we don't know the whole route, but the next few steps look amazing. We're on the edge, a new frontier. Something greater. Deeper. More astonishing than ever is straight ahead."  MultiTracks are now available for two songs that the band has pre-released, "1000 Tongues" and "Exalted Over All." The album's first single, "1000 Tongues" is a joyful anthem that unites worshippers in proclaiming the incredible glory of God and singing their praises to Him.  Drawing inspiration from the classic hymn by Charles Wesley, the chorus declares, "O for a thousand tongues to sing the glories of our Lord God Almighty.  Oh to sing the Savior's praise, the triumph of His grace.  You are worthy, You are worthy, God!"  "Exalted Over All" worships Jesus for taking our place on the cross and saving us through His sacrifice.  Now He reigns over all the world in glory and majesty and is deserving of our eternal praise.  The song declares His greatness, exalting, "One name is higher, one name is stronger than any grace, than any throne.  Christ exalted over all.  The only Savior, Jesus Messiah.  To You alone our praise belongs.  Christ exalted over all." This is just a taste of what Frontiers has to offer, worship directed vertically to God.  Pre-order it today on iTunes and you'll be able to immediately download "1000 Tongues" and "Exalted Over All."  Frontiers releases July 29.
