New Single from Lucía Parker - "Oh The Blood Of Jesus"

CATEGORIES: News, Home Page, New Releases
International singer, songwriter, and recording artist Lucía Parker has released her first English single, "Oh The Blood Of Jesus" just in time for Easter.  Having translated many of today's most loved worship songs into Spanish, Lucía's wish is to inspire all generations and nations to unite through worship. This new song allows her to bridge languages and cultures to share the power of Jesus' blood with a large audience as she will also be releasing the song in Spanish and Portuguese.  Lucía says, "It’s been an exciting journey having written and recorded this track in less than two months, I just knew this was a powerful, timeless message I am eager to share with the world and that is my heart, singing this song in both English, Spanish and Portuguese." Lucía co-wrote "Oh the Blood of Jesus" with prolific songwriters Michael Farren and Tony Wood, having felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to write about the blood of Jesus.  Lucía says, "The Holy Spirit made me dig deeper and ask what the blood does in a practical way in your life, without cumulating the overused Christian phrases. That is how I began to journal feeling like the blood of Jesus heals those hidden parts of my heart where I’ve been hurt before and when I’ve messed up. I come before the Lord with genuine repentance, His blood was already there washing my sins away and making sure I knew there is no condemnation, and there’s nothing I can do for me to earn it and there is nothing I can do to lose it. It never loses it’s power..." The song outlines the ways the blood has changed our lives from its healing power to the way it has restored us.  The chorus opens up and shares this testimony, praising, "Oh the blood, the Lamb of glory shed with love to change my story. Flowing now with unending power, oh the blood of Jesus!"  It's a powerful message that will resonate strongly with believers.  Lucía concludes, “Oh the Blood of Jesus” will be a the perfect embodiment of why we celebrate Easter but like I said this message is timeless and I’m excited to sing it all year round encouraging people to fall in love with the beauty of the blood and be grateful for such a precious invaluable gift."
