"Forevermore" is the second of a wave of new singles that Australian worship movement Influencers is releasing for 2018, following up on "I'm Yours," which the group debuted last month. “'Forevermore' embodies a story of surrender, redemption and hope,” shares Influencers Worship executive producer Mark Evans. “The best part about this song is it didn’t come out of a session with seasoned writers but rather from the raw and personal moments of a 20 year-old girl crying out to God.”
The powerful ballad takes an ambient and intimate start with tasteful vocal effects and crisp guitars before it launches into a sure declaration in the chorus that quickly becomes the anchor of the song, “I am Yours forevermore.” Cinematic strings enter the story as the soaring instrumental takes shape, leading into the powerful lyrics of songwriter and lead vocalist Sawyer Stromwall sings out, “This is the end of a worn out journey, this is the start of the promise that you’ve shown me, you have overcome the desperate fear I have of the unknown.”
