New MultiTracks From New Life Worship

CATEGORIES: News, New Releases
Today marks the release of the brand new worship album from New Life Worship, Strong God, and MultiTracks.com is proud to be able to bring you all of the original MultiTracks for you to use in your churches and worship experiences! New Life Church in Colorado Springs, CO, is known for originating some well-know anthems that you may have sung in your church, including songs like "Overcome," "Great I Am," "I Am Free," "Your Name," "My Savior Lives" and many more. Continuing its 20+ year legacy, New Life Worship is offering 10 new songs to encourage people to stand up and proclaim that God alone is strong on its live CD/DVD entitled Strong God, released by Integrity Music. For the new project, worship pastors Brad Parsley and Jon Egan (Desperation Band) introduce the next generation of New Life Worship leaders and songwriters, while collaborating with well-seasoned leaders and writers like Cory Asbury, Michael Farren, Jason Ingram, Meredith Andrews and Mia Fieldes. "The health of New Life Worship is rising again," says Egan. "For five or six years, we were really just focusing on healing and restoration. But over the past two years, we've felt God calling us to raise up a new generation of musicians, worship leaders, and songwriters. This new season can be seen and heard on Strong God." The new music has also helped with the healing for those that suffered loss from the most destructive fire in Colorado's history. The fire affected about 100 families from New Life Church, which served as a temporary evacuation shelter, with some members completely losing their homes. As the church looked for additional ways to support the community as a whole, Egan shares, "We gathered around those affected, prayed, and sang "Strong God" together as a reminder that we're all about declaring the greatness of God in the midst of trouble and despair. We know what that's like, so we can sing it fully knowing the truth behind the words.' "Strong God is really a banner for and over our church," continues Egan, who wrote the song along with Jason Ingram and Meredith Andrews. "It reflects our heart and vision for our church and our community." Let's take a more in-depth look at some of the songs available as MultiTrack downloads from this new album. "Strong God" Jon Egan, Jason Ingram, Meredith Andrews (feat. Jon Egan) The song starts out slow (52 bpm) and meditative, and then builds to a broad, sweeping anthemic bridge that resolves into a passionate chorus. Soaring electric guitars evoke the emotions associated with the thought of a majestic God enthroned in strength on high, and yet reaching down to infuse us with his strength, love, and holiness. An ethereal guitar and synth intro leads us into a reflection on what the holiness, love, and strength of God looks like when it intersects our lives. "Father to the fatherless, Defender of the weak, With us in the wilderness, Faithful to provide. Sing out, lift your voice and cry out: Awesome is our strong God, mighty is our God!" You'll get all 14 original master recording tracks with the MultiTrack download, including Click, Guide, 2 electric guitars, a Rhodes track, and a choir track that can be used to add some great ambient vocals and thicken up the backing vocal sound. "Jesus Reigns" Jon Egan and Jonathan Moos (feat. Jon Egan) Featuring driving, powerful electric guitars and drums, this song is a declaration of the truth that Jesus reigns over every aspect of life. "In the battle or times of peace. In the shadow or sweet relief. There's a light all the world will see. We declare, we declare. . . . . Jesus reigns, Jesus reigns. Over death and hell and fear He reigns. Above all, above all, He's the victory that saves, Jesus reigns!" 17 tracks include a Clap track (!) 3 electric guitars, Piano, 2 Aux keys, as well as some lush string parts. "Victorious God," Ian Eskelin and Glenn Packiam (feat. Brad Parsley) This up-tempo track will have your hands clapping and your feet dancing right from the start. It begins by encouraging people to rejoice and offer praise directly to Christ: Jesus You're the risen One, up from the grave you rose. Jesus You're the reigning King, You conquered all Your foes, Chorus "Victorious, victorious, victorious God!" There are a number of great tracks including a Clap track, Tambourine, Glockenspiel (yes!), and a great pad texture that lays in behind the entire song as a kind of pedal-tone. "More Than Enough," Abby Merkel and Nico Perez (feat. both) This mid-tempo song is a plea and a prayer for God to turn His face upon us and satisfy the hunger that only He can fill. The chorus brings in the declaration that God is, "Great in power, great in splendor, great in wonder, more than enough. Strong and able, true and faithful, Jesus Savior, more than enough." Verse 2 reminds us that when we were broken, sinful, and defeated, God restored us, freed us, and brought us into His grace. "More Than Enough," uses an intriguing 5/4 time signature in the vamp leading up to the bridge, and you'll find it all tracked out for you and ready to go, along with 5 electric guitar tracks, 3 keyboards, electric piano, choir, strings, and more! Strong God is an exciting new release from New Life Worship, and one that will be a favorite for worshipers and congregations for many years to come.
