New Hope Oahu has released their newest album, Future + Hope, following up on their 2015 release Greater Together which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Overall Christian Music Chart. New Hope Oahu ministers to thousands of people each week across their 5 campuses and the internet and the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts has recognized their albums as "Religious Album of the Year" for the past 3 years. This new project conveys a strong message of the hope we have in Christ through lyrical worship mixed with cutting edge sounds.
The album's title track, "Future + Hope," emphasizes this theme as it encourages believers with the reminder that God is greater than anything we might face and that He fights for us. The chorus rejoices that "Our God is with us. Never forsaken, we have a promise, we have a future. Our God is for us, greater within us. We have a promise, we have a future and a hope. "I Want You" expresses a deep desire for the Savior and with great energy and a fun EDM style that will have people dancing as they worship, it boldly declares, "I want I want I want nothing less, I need I need I need nothing more. I know I know I know there's nothing else but You. Jesus, I want You!" "Overwhelmed" voices the awe of all that Jesus has done and praises Him for His mercy and the new life He has given us. With great reverence, the chorus exclaims, "I come alive within Your presence, surrounded by Your touch. Embraced by all Your wonder, I am overwhelmed!"
