Dove Award winning recording artist LaRue Howard has released a new EP entitled Who Is Like Our God. It was recorded on New Year's Eve 2015 at the River of Life Christian Center of Orlando, where LaRue serves as worship leader, and is packed with songs that enable the Body of Christ to sing praises to the true and living God. Who Is Like Our God carries on LaRue's mandate to "reach the world through worship" with a dynamic Gospel style and lyrics that are drawn directly from scripture.
The EP's title track, "Who Is Like Our God" is a powerful song of exaltation that recognizes God's greatness. It utilizes the words of Psalm 96:4 to praise, "Our God is to be feared above all other gods. There is no other that is stronger than You, higher than You." Asking the question, "Who is like our God?" it emphatically declares that there is no one greater. "Blessing and Honor" is a beautiful anthem based on Revelation 5:13. Filled with rich harmonies, it worships, "Blessing and honor, glory and power be unto the matchless King. Lord, we praise Your name, we bless Your name. All praises belong to You!" "We Turn To You" was inspired by 2 Chronicles 7:14 and expresses heartfelt repentance and a desire to return to the heart of God. The song is both moving and intimate and it prayerfully seeks God to forgive us and heal our land, "We turn to You, we turn to You. Hear us from Heaven and heal our land. We turn to You, we turn to You. Forgive our sin, establish Your kingdom here. We turn to You."
