New MultiTracks From Jermaine Rodriguez

CATEGORIES: News, Home Page
Bless The Lord is the latest release from Jermaine Rodriguez.  Having worked in ministry for over 16 years as an orchestra director, music pastor, and ministry consultant, he is currently serving as the Creative Arts Director at Church on the Rock in St. Peter's, MO. Mixing Latin, Pop, and Contemporary Gospel styles, Bless The Lord is full of songs that emphasize the greatness of God.  With the words of Psalm 103:1 as it's foundation, the title track "Bless The Lord" incorporates strong brass lines and Latin beats to tell of God's might and to praise His name.  "Champions" is a lively anthem that rejoices in the victory we have in Christ, singing, "We are champions and we are strong.  A holy nation standing as one, walking in victory with God at our side.  We are, we are champions!"  It's a fun song that incorporates a call and echo format that would be great for a worship leader and backing ensemble.  Psalm 118:24 is brought alive with a contemporary jazz feel in "This Is The Day," which declares, "This is the day that the Lord has made.  I will rejoice and be glad in it, be glad in it.  This is the time I'm gonna praise Him like I've lost my mind for He has done wonderful things in my life, in my life."  Congregations will love the style and energy that Jermaine shares in his latest album.
