A Worshipper's Heart is the new live album from acclaimed Gospel worship leader Todd Dulaney. After pursuing a career in baseball and playing professionally for five years, Todd discovered a higher calling in his life to share the message of God through music and he began to travel and perform background vocals for GRAMMY Award winning Gospel artist Smokie Norful. He went on to work with many more talented and award-winning artists including Fred Hammond, David and Nicole Binion, and Tye Tribbett and was nominated for a Stellar Award for "New Artist of the Year" in 2012. His desire is to write music which ministers to the heart of God and touches the heart of man. The songs on this new album certainly reflect that goal with music that brings listeners to a place of worship.
"Free Worshipper" rejoices in the freedom we have in Christ and celebrates the way Jesus has saved us from the bonds of our sin and shame. "Victory Belongs to Jesus" is another great anthem that professes our trust in the One who has overcome it all. It worships Him for His might and deliverance and acknowledges that none can stand against Him as it declares, "Victory Belongs To Jesus. Victory belongs to Him." "You Are Everything" reverently expresses the sufficiency of the Savior, telling Him just how much He means, singing, "You are everything to me."
The album's lead single, a powerful cover of Planetshakers' popular worship song, "The Anthem," opens softly with voice and piano and it reverently gives testimony of the way Jesus has redeemed us through His sacrifice on the cross, building instrumentally and layering in rich background vocals as it progresses. With great passion, it worships and exalts the risen king, singing, "Hallelujah! You have won the victory. Hallelujah! You have won it all for me."
