New from Citipointe Live's album "Holy Ground"

CATEGORIES: News, New Releases
We've just added MultiTracks from the new album, Holy Ground, from Citipointe Live! Citipointe Live is the worship team birthed from Citipointe Church Brisbane. They are known for having a great passion for the local Church. Devoted to their church vision to unmistakably influence their world for good and for God, Citipointe Live travels internationally bringing life changing worship and training to churches and conferences worldwide. With the release of Holy Ground, the songwriting/worshipleading husband and wife duo of Becky and Aaron Lucas return, along with Joel Ramsey and Chardon Lewis, to bring us another album full of passionate praise. From high energy songs that will have you on your feet, dancing and clapping in spontaneous worship, to intimate choruses that leave room for the worshipper to have a personal encounter with God and hear His voice speaking to them, Holy Ground is a rich journey of scripturally sound worship that is a sonic treat as well! One of the things I most appreciate about Citipointe Live's music is their sensitivity in allowing the arrangement to serve the lyric. While you will definitely find pulse-pounding drum rhythms, multi-layered guitar parts, and a rich bed of textured synths and loops; they are tastefully and artfully used to enhance the direction that the lyrics take us, rather than distract from the true heart of the worship. Whether you choose to just use a few extra guitar tracks and a loop or two, or you're a solo worship leader who will turn on every stem in the song, you will find well thought out instrumental and background vocal parts that will complement and help facilitate worship in your church. Let's look at a few featured tracks from the album. The title track, "Holy Ground" begins with a simple refrain inviting us to come to Jesus with a sense of awe and reminding us that, because of the cross of victory, the lost are being redeemed and we stand in a place of holiness . . . all because of Christ! Just when you think you know everything the song has to offer, it takes it up a notch and transitions into the bridge section just after the second chorus. I literally could not stop singing this anthem of praise for about an hour after listening to this track! Check out the music video for "Holy Ground", and then download it from the MultiTracks.com store. You can find all 14 tracks right here, including a sweet synth-strings part that kicks in on the second chorus and adds a special touch of sweetness to the track. "We've Come Alive" is a mid-tempo song that opens with the lyric, "Up out of the dust, we've come alive," which beautifully paints a parallel for us between the life-giving breath that God first breathed into the dust when He created mankind, and the life-giving breath that God breathes into each of us when we are reborn. This song speaks of freedom and true life in Christ, and addresses one of my favorite concepts from scripture in verse 2 of the song: abiding in Christ! The chorus allows us to declare these eternal truths once again: "Jesus, You are all I need. You are all I want. You're love has rescued me. You are faithful through the ages, Jesus, Savior and King!" Watch the music video and then come back and download all of the incredible MultiTracks and start using this high-intensity worship song today! 14 tracks, including 3 electric guitar parts, piano, organ, and background vocals broken out into 4 parts make this track excellent for including in your live worship, as well as for using as a teaching tool for different members of your worship team. "Hold Me Now," rather than being phrased as plea to God, is instead a strong declaration of the truth that God is holding us right now, and He never lets go! With the stems you will find drums, bass, 2 acoustic guitar parts, 3 electric guitars, piano, pad, synths, background vocals, as well as the click track and guide track that are a part of every song on MultiTracks.com. Check out the music video to see it in a live context. "El Shaddai" takes us into a place of crying out blessings to the holy name of the Lord. We are reminded that there is power and grace in His name, and that the mountains move and the oceans roar at the name of our El Shaddai. This is a big track! At almost 10 minutes in length, you will find multiple instrumental sections for letting people reflect on the words they've been singing, as well as opportunities to repeat the bridge section enough times to really let people take hold of the importance of the words: "Forgiven of all of my wrongs, Lord. You've washed me. . . . made me whole." You can get a great feel for the song by watching the Citipointe team lead worship. When you download the track from our store, you'll receive 14 stems that feature all of the lush instruments sections that you've come to expect from Citipointe Live. This is a great song that is worth introducing and featuring in your worship sets for many years to come. We hope you enjoy these great new songs from Citipointe Live! - review by Kevin Wilber - Worship Pastor for Sunrise Baptist Church in Puyallup, WA & Copywriter for MultiTracks.com and Copy Editor for Christian Musician Magazine & Worship Musician Magazine
