"Rejoice" is Brad & Rebekah's latest single. Brad shares with us, "We started writing 'Rejoice' in October of 2017 not knowing what a huge part of our story it would become. 3 months later we learned the Rebekah had a very rare form of cancer that required immediate treatment. In the weeks that followed, as we battled insurance and learned more about the disease and her specific case, we continued to write and then complete the song for an upcoming record with our church, CCV."
Brad continues, "The theme of the song comes from Philippians 4 where Paul tells the Church to rejoice in the Lord no matter what their circumstances were, and to trust Him in His unshakeable sovereignty with the outcome, knowing that He is good and He loves us. We were literally walking through a very difficult thing as the Holy Spirit was drawing us into His comfort and peace and writing this song through us. Now as we sing the song it comes from such a deeper place than it could have the year before. It comes from a deeper place of trust and understanding that the Lord is good and His love for us is unshakeable and transcends our circumstances and life here on earth."
