CATEGORIES: News, Home Page
Encounter Worship is the sound of Encounter Youth from Lugar De Encuentro, one of the most recognized Hispanic churches in San Diego, CA.  The group formed in 2013 and chose the name "Encounter Worship" as a tribute to their church and because they firmly believe that an encounter with Jesus can change lives.  We are glad to bring you the MultiTracks from their 2014 EP,The King Lives which contains songs inspired by their annual God's Not Dead Conference  The team shares, "These songs proclaim the greatness of our God and declare that He is NOT Dead...The King Lives!" "Living God" rejoices in the freedom we have in Christ.  With an energetic sound and a pulsing beat, it glorifies God and testifies that He is alive and lives in us, declaring, "We will shout out Your praises. We will sing that You're alive. Every nation shall proclaim You're the one and only living God. Only living God, only living God. Only living God."  "He's Alive" is a beautiful worship ballad that emphasizes the love Christ showed us through His sacrifice on the cross.  It tells of the way His love rescued us, taking away our sins and bringing us hope and restoration.  "Lifted On High" is a dynamic song that praises Jesus for the way He has redeemed us, freeing us from our sin and shame.  With a spirit of gratitude, the chorus exalts, "Jesus, we lift Your name on high, higher than mountains, higher than skies.  Worthy of honor, worthy of praise. Hold our Father, Holy Your name." These songs will make great additions to your services as they share the good news that Jesus is alive.  The King Lives is available on iTunes.  Download your copy today!  Also be sure to check out Encounter Worship's EP, El Rey Vive, which contains Spanish versions of each of these songs.
