Singer and songwriter Joanna Beasley's musical career first began in 2003 when she qualified as a semi-finalist on the second season of American Idol at the age of 16.  Since her time on the show, she has had the opportunity to perform with many of today's well-known Christian artists and has released a number of albums including her 2013 project, Loud Love.  This release was Joanna's first worship album and it shares the message of God's unconditional love in a new and relevant way.  She comments, "Worship music is generally geared toward Christian people, but everyone can be infected, encouraged, and empowered by what we’re saying with this album. We have a huge heart for the church, but also for reaching people who wouldn’t typically go to church, and just loving them and ministering to them where they’re at, sharing the message with them in a new light. We can always come to Him no matter what we’ve done. He loves us regardless of our flaws and failures, and that’s the biggest change in this album, lyrically. We’ve realized how true God’s heart is for us and we want to communicate that His love is absolutely unfailing. We’re singing back to God what He already says about Himself and about us. His love is bold, true, loud, unconditional, and constantly pursuing you wherever you go!” One of the standouts on the album is Joanna's cover of Jesus Culture's "Rooftops," a song that acknowledges God's incredible grace and offers Him our complete trust and surrender, unabashedly proclaiming to the world the we belong to Him, "So I shout out Your name, from the rooftops I proclaim that I am Yours, I am Yours. All that I am, I place into Your loving hands and I am Yours, I am Yours."  Joanna co-wrote and performed "This Same Love" with Jesus Culture artist Chris McClarney.  This duet simply worships God for His goodness and praises Him for His love which is greater than our sin and shame, "And this same Love who has conquered death is You great God. You saved me from the shame that I deserved. You’re a good and great God."  "Hallelujah" opens up with the melody of the Doxology.  This beautiful ballad brings glory, honor, and exaltation to the One who worthy of our praise to God, worshipping, "Hallelujah, hallelujah to the One who was, is, and always will be.  Hallelujah, hallelujah to the One who was, is, and always will be God."
