Dove Award winning artist, LaRue Howard feels that God has given her a mandate to reach the world through worship, and she has devoted her life to doing just that, having led thousands in worship for almost 2 decades.  She has released a number of Gospel Praise & Worship albums, including Live at the River, which was recorded live at her church, the River of Life Christian Center in Orlando, Florida.  We are pleased to bring you MultiTracks from this album today! Born out of LaRue's desire to raise up a generation of bold worshippers, the album captured a night of passionate praise for the Savior.  Full of energy and celebration, "Almighty God" incorporates a call-and-response format in the verses, repeatedly declaring, "We worship You, Almighty God," then corporately singing, "Rise up, O Lord, in all Your power.  We celebrate Your mighty acts with praise!"  It goes on to speak of God's might and faithfulness, emphasizing that there is none like Him.  LaRue's cover of Jared Anderson's worship anthem, "Great I Am," truly expresses the awesomeness of our God.  This Gospel arrangement is strong, good for both smaller or larger ensembles, blending rich vocal harmonies and leaving moments open for spontaneity in worship. "Waldring's Song" came about from a trip LaRue took to Haiti with the World Orphans organization.  A young man named Waldring, who was serving as the group's translator, shared a song straight from his heart and it was something LaRue truly felt needed to be heard around the world.  When she returned home from the trip, she was able to record it.  It is a heartfelt song of exaltation, worshipping, "Lord, You are holy.  You are worthy.  You are almighty," and asking Him to establish His kingdom. Blending together different genres of music from Gospel to Contemporary Praise & Worship, the songs on Live at the River all have one thing in common - they are all bold declarations of praise to an amazing God.
