In the course of almost 20 years, Diante do Trono has become one of Brazil's most influential and popular worship bands with over 15 million albums sold. They recently released their 17th album, Tetelestai which was recorded in the Spring of 2014 in Jerusalem and features 10 songs all written by the group's lead singer Ana Paula Valadão. It was the first album Diante do Trono recorded outside of Brazil, accompanied by a caravan of 300 people in such locations as the Tower of David, Golgotha, and the Mount of Olives. The album's title Tetelestai comes from Jesus's last words on the cross, meaning "it is finished" or "fully paid."
Ana Paula shares, "The message of the songs brings an overview of the God of Israel that was revealed through his son Jesus, crucified, risen and that will come! My expectation for the pre-release is that every attendee will be blessed and will confirm that God's plan for this project is great. "
