Every Moment is the dynamic debut release of new Dream Records artist Curt Anderson. For this project, Curt teamed up with Grammy and Dove Award winning songwriters who have penned songs with everyone from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Selena Gomez, Natasha Bedingfield, Backstreet Boys, and *NSYNC to Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, Hillsong, and TobyMac to bring listeners a fresh collection of anthemic songs that will both encourage and challenge. While Curt has had a great passion for music since he was a child, he has an even greater passion for people. This love for others is evident in his life and in each song he sings. He comments, "I feel like music is the vehicle God has given me to show love to people."
"Keep It Beating" was Curt's first single from the album and it contains a fresh sound and lyrics that will resonate with worshippers as they point to the One who heals our brokenness. Curt says, "This song is a testament to the unconditional, undying love of God. Even in times we feel like we're shipwrecked on the rocks of our mistakes, like we're stuck in this cycle of decisions that go against what God has for our lives, through Christ there's always redemption. He takes our messes, our failures, and broken pieces and makes something beautiful out of it." The chorus praises the incredible love and mercy He shows to us, "You keep reaching down. Your love keeps pouring out. You pull me back to life and keep me breathing. When I'm lost in the storm, You pull me into your arms. You take my broken heart and keep it beating."
"Love Like You Love" prays for God to open our eyes to those around us and give us a heart to reach out and show His love to the world. The chorus poses some questions that will cause us to examine the way we have chosen to live our lives, "When the lights go down, when I'm finally home, how did I live my life? How will I be known? Did I fight for truth, did I give enough? When it's said and done, I want to love like You love." "Love Is Rising" encourages us to not lose hope in times of pain and struggle, but to give Jesus our brokenness and allow Him to envelop us in His love, "When your heart is drowning, drowning, when your faith is shaking, shaking, hold out for the sun. Love is rising, love is rising. When you feel forsaken, 'saken, let hope awaken, waken. Hold on through the night. Love is rising, love is rising."
