CCV Music is the worship ministry of Christ's Church of the Valley, a non-denominational Christian Church with multiple locations in the Phoenix area. They have released their debut live album, Rising Up which was recorded in July during their Night of Worship and contains 12 original songs reflective of the work of God in their community at their church.
"I'm Alive" celebrates the redemption we have experienced through Jesus Christ and praises Him for His sacrifice on the cross and for the new life He has given us. It shares the testimony of the way Jesus has saved us and transformed our lives, rejoicing, "I'm alive, I'm alive, by Your power I have come alive. What once was lost is redeemed. I am free, I am free, through the cross You have saved me. Your love has opened my eyes. Now I am alive! "I Surrender" offers God all of our triumphs and failures, giving Him every aspect of our lives all for His glory. The chorus allows worshippers to humbly open themselves up to God, "I surrender, I surrender all to You, all to You."
The album's title track, "Rising Up" is a corporate anthem full of exaltation and adoration for the Savior, praising His love and grace. The song expresses the awesomeness of our God who saves, worshipping, "Our God is rising up, our God is rising up. All power in earth and heaven, Jesus You reign forever. Our God is rising up, can't sing it loud enough. We lift Your name together, Jesus You reign forever."
