The song was inspired by John 7:38, which says, "The one who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, will have streams of living water flow from deep within him.” Austin & Lindsey share, "Our song, 'Streams,' is about our deepest longings being fulfilled through God's abundant love. There's nothing in this world that can satisfy us. It's only through the experience of being totally loved by God that our hearts are truly filled...We hope this new song frees you, like it has us, to walk joyfully in the light of your salvation- letting go of the old and allowing streams of Living Water- the Spirit of God- to flow through you."
