"Echo" is the new single from Newport, a musical collective birthed out of the worship ministry of Orange County based Newport Church, a church that strives to connect people to Christ, to life-giving relationships, and to their God-given purpose and destiny.
With an air of celebration, a catchy beat, and a vibrant mainstream pop sound that reflects the culture around them, "Echo" was written to encourage and speak to people no matter where they are in their spiritual walk. “It’s this idea of God calling out to the furthest hearts,” says Newport songwriter and worship leader, Graham Bronczyk. “The chorus is basically what happens when you’ve had an encounter with Christ… You then are the light of the world [and] you echo the heartbeat of God.” Praising our God who loves us and has saved us by His grace, "Echo" truly captures the joy of knowing Christ and the hope that is found in Him.
