This week, we are excited to feature The Response Band as our Indie Showcase. The group formed in Austin, TX in 2009 out of a next-generation worship movement in the city. Since then, God has opened some incredible doors from touring with the African Children's Choir in Uganda to winning Creation Fest's Indie Talent Search and playing House of Blues and Austin City Limits Live. They have also partnered with numerous churches, ministries, youth groups, festivals, and conferences. Through it all, they have always kept one thing at the forefront: that God would be glorified through them and their music. We are pleased to bring you the MultiTracks from their Christmas single, "O Holy Night."
Great ambience is laid down in the synths which tenderly blanket the song, giving it a sense of peace and wonder. Midway through the song, a simple, repeated exaltation of "Hallelujah" is repeated. It segues back into that chorus that calls for everyone to "Fall on your knees. O hear the angels' voices. O night divine, O night, O night divine." With great reverence, the song repeats "Hallelujah" through to the end. This beautiful new arrangement will be an incredible addition to your Christmas services.
