This week, we are showcasing Come Alive, the debut worship album from Northwest Arkansas' Cross Church Worship. The album was recorded last May at Cross Church's Rogers, Arkansas location during a powerful night of declaring God's Truth through music and it features 10 exciting new arrangements of some of today's popular praise and worship favorites.
"Come Alive (Dry Bones)" proclaims a powerful belief in the life that God can breathe into those who need Him. Referencing Ezekiel 37, the chorus calls out in faith "As we call out to dry bones come alive, come alive and we call out to dead hearts, come alive, come alive. Come up out of the ashes, let us see an army rise. We call out to dry bones come alive." "Spirit of the Living God" expresses a heartfelt desire for the Spirit of God to move in our lives. The song reverently acknowledges His holiness and transformative power, "Because when You speak, when You move, when You do what only You can do, it changes us, it changes what we see and what we seek." "Right Here" is a gorgeous anthem that is to minister to those who are hurting or searching for answers, encouraging them to come to the One who can heal and give comfort. The chorus invites, "So come to Him, let Him bear your suffering. You can cast your cares on Him and let your troubles fall, let your troubles fall right here." You'll also find new arrangements of other popular favorites such as "Open Up The Heavens," "This Is Amazing Grace," and "Jesus, Only Jesus."
