This week, we are featuring Changed Forever, the new EP from Daystar Worship as our Indie Showcase. This new project comes from the worship ministry of Greensboro, North Carolina's Daystar Church and it contains four original songs that were recorded at Seawell Studios, a professional studio owned and operated by a Daystar Church member, Josh Seawell. The team shares, "It is our belief that good music alone cannot change an individual’s life. At Daystar, our culture of worship is focused upon the glory of Christ and His praise alone. As we praise Christ, His presence changes our lives. It is our desire that the people who attend our services encounter God and in return are led to praise His name."
"Nothing Compares" is a beautiful anthem that praises the Savior for His great love for us and offers to relinquish all control to Him. It reverently worships, "And nothing compares with You, my King. Your glory forever I'll proclaim. Holy are You God, all creation sings. Faithful are You God, Lord of everything. You gave up Your life all because of me. Forever I'll worship at Your feet." With a driving and quiet intensity, "All Glory To Your Name" revisits the night of the crucifixion and rejoices in Jesus' victory over sin and death, segueing into a repeated exaltation that builds passionately to the end, "All glory to Your name forever, Lord. You will reign forevermore. You gave Your life and opened Heaven's doors. You are the King forevermore!" "Changed Forever" offers an incredible testimony of the transforming grace of Jesus. It joyfully praises the way He redeemed us through His sacrifice on the cross, saving us from our sins and healing our brokenness, "You came with grace to free us, You've taken all our shame. Our sin is now forgiven, healed by Your name. Your love alive within us, we live in victory. My life You've changed forever, You're my everything!"
