Indie Showcase: Broken by The Elm Friday, January 6, 2017 The Elm is an Atlanta-based worship duo, featuring brother and sister Tim Brummel and Brittany Price. The project began as an overflow of a difficult season when Brittany unexpectedly lost her husband and was widowed with three boys under the age of 3. Her brother moved to be closer to her and together, they began to write and record their debut album, Broken. In this release, they share themes of hope and God's faithfulness and sovereignty in songs such as a powerful cover of Elevation Worship's "Your Promises" and their original anthem, "Even In," which proclaims "Even in the valley you are faithful faithful. Even in the darkness you are there. And I’ve seen and I know that you are in control. Even in the valley you are faithful, You are faithful."
