While helping with the feeding efforts of Convoy of Hope in Haiti, the song was born after seeing a cross on the Haitian hilltop. The diversity-filled, Aussie worship group finished the track while on retreat in their adopted home of Georgia. The track was two years in the making with the sovereignty and simplicity of the cross being at the core of the song. “† (just the cross)” precedes Easter and an expected full length album coming out later this spring.
