This song is for the church, and is a bold declaration that says "we say yes" to Jesus and to His plan and vision.

Co-writer, Aaron Hunt said, "I love the line: Our lives opened wide, our hands lifted high. There is something so powerful about seeing a room of people with hands raised declaring that we are submitting our lives to God and whatever He has planned. It's a scary thing to say as well, because, in my experience, the things God calls me to are often very hard, but also without a doubt the most rewarding and life-changing."

Jasmine Guerrero is a CA-based worship singer. She was part of the Isla Vista Worship movement serving and leading worship from 2014-2016. Since then, she has moved home to LA where she leads worship and serves the local church.

Jasmine met and wrote her newest single Winter with Hank Bentley, Aaron Ivey, and Nick Herbert at the Capitol CMG Songwriting Camp in January of 2020. "I feel like this song 'Winter' was a gift from God. We had no idea we would be going into a global pandemic shortly after we wrote this song and we had no idea we would need the comfort and the strength and courage that this song breathes into our humanness and weariness."
