Zach Williams | "Rattle!"

"'Impossible' and 'disappointment' are two words that have plagued our culture in this season," Zach Williams shares. "I want these words to be replaced with 'power' and 'miracles.' As a musician with a platform, I want 'My God is able' to rattle the minds of the listeners. The first time I heard this song, the raw power and emotion of this song impacted me greatly, and I want this song to be a reminder to all that God IS able and he IS doing great things." Original Master MultiTracks and other worship leading resources are available now "Rattle! (Feat. Steven Furtick)".

CCV Music | "O Come Emmanuel"

CCV Music's latest single "O Come Emmanuel (Light Up the Darkness)" brings a fresh new take on a Christmastime classic. This new version sings out, "There's a promise written in stars / Shining across these ancient skies / O Come Emmanuel / King of Heaven open Your arms / Son of Man deliver us / O Come Emmanuel / Light up the darkness," while keeping the same classic melody of the chorus, but moving it to the bridge.

Fellowship Worship | "Glory to God"

"This song was inspired by the story in Luke 2 about the birth of Jesus and the angels that praised God saying 'Glory to God in the highest peace on earth and goodwill towards men.' It celebrates the Savior of the world being born, but also is written as a worship song and can be used during Christmas season," shares Fellowship Worship. Their newest song "Glory to God" is out now!

Hillsong Kids | "Star of the Morning"

"Star of the Morning" is the brand new Christmas single from Hillsong Kids. This joyful song sings out, "This is Jesus, Emmanuel our Lord / He is with us / Give praise forevermore / We will adore Him with heaven in our sight / Star of the morning / We are found in His shining light." Hillsong Kids shares their heart behind this new song writing, "We can all agree that Christmas time never fails to lift the spirits. So to celebrate the reason for the season we have released a brand new single 'Star of the Morning'. A song for children all around the globe to declare the foundational truth of Emmanuel, God with us."

Behind The Song - Catch Me Singing

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8 (ESV)

Have you ever heard of the Biosphere? It’s a research facility out in the Arizona desert originally designed to study plant life inside artificial ecosystems. Perfect conditions, perfectly secure, perfectly climate controlled… sounds great right?

Here’s where things get interesting. At the start of the experiments, the trees planted in the Biosphere grew at a much faster rate than any of their siblings in the wild, BUT at a certain point, they literally just uprooted and fell over. Not just one or two, but every tree in the Biosphere would reach an age where it could not bear its own weight.

Eventually, the scientist realized the cause of the problem… there was no wind. Translation: there was no tension, no resistance, no uncertainty, no inconsistency, no reason for the root systems to learn their purpose: to grow deep.

To put it gently, this has been quite the year (said with a desperate smile). Most of us are facing more uncertainty and tension than we have ever seen in our lifetimes. Living in the struggle is hard work. We hide from it, we ignore it, we despise it. Often times we act like it will be the death of us, but it might be the thing keeping us alive. Could it be that God is more concerned with our growing rightly than our growing quickly? Could it be that God is not scared of the process though often times we act like He is? It’s good for our souls to remember that the promises of God are eternal. They do not run away from the process; they carry us through it.

“Catch Me Singing” was a call to my heart to remember – in the famine or in the feast. Remember, God knows what it's like to walk through the desert. Moreover, if our hope is truly in the resurrection, then we must always remember this: God does some of His best work in the dark. I encourage you to plant your trust by the river today, friends. Let your roots grow deep into the promise.
