New Rend Collective Album - Choose to Worship

Thursday, March 26, 2020

“Life is hard and worship will not always or even usually be our default setting,” shares Chris Llewellyn of Rend Collective about new album Choose to Worship. “It’s not initially natural to respond to a cancer diagnosis, or the death of a loved one or a major career setback with a song of praise and trust. This album is an invitation into the spiritual discipline that we have been living as a community of building altars of praise in the darkness, trusting that whether or not the dawn comes, worship is still our sacred duty—and privilege. We hope this album gives you a vocabulary so that you can sing from the shackles, lift an anthem of defiance against your circumstances and raise a shout of joy that demoralizes the enemy in his attempts to silence you."

New Rend Collective Single - "SING IT FROM THE SHACKLES"

Thursday, January 30, 2020

Have you ever felt imprisoned or stuck in your life circumstances? "Honestly, we’ve been there," shares Rend Collective. "Days where it’s been hard to get out of bed, days where we’re not sure anything we do matters, days where we feel like we’re spiralling out of control. Paul and Silas were actually stripped and beaten before being thrown in the most securely guarded cell in the prison. In the midst of that humiliation, despair and pain, they chose to worship. As they sang the prison doors flung open and their shackles fell off. We believe this story isn’t just an allegory or specific to them-- we ALL have access to the same power of God. We all have the ability to sing in our darkest moments. We hope "SING IT FROM THE SHACKLES" gives you an anthem for the dark nights of the soul, and encourages you to sing His praise from the shackles!"

Good News - Rend Collective

Friday, January 19, 2018

Amidst so much heaviness consuming events of today’s world, Rend Collective is sharing good news as a response to that brokenness. The Ireland-hailing Rend Collective is harkening back to their roots-y, unique sound - originally birthed out of Bangor, Ireland – for their sixth studio album, Good News, which is now available! The title track and lead single, “Rescuer (Good News),” points to the good news found in Jesus for every season and circumstance.  Other songs include "Marching On," an upbeat collaboration with Hillsong Young & Free and the declarative anthem "Resurrection Day."  Band member Gareth Gilkerson shares, “All of us make mistakes and hit the ground feeling like we can’t get up again, that our failure is too overwhelming.  But Romans 8 says that ‘The power that raised Christ from the dead lives inside of our mortal bodies’. That means resurrection flows in our veins and if Jesus can rise from the dead, we can get up off the floor again, declaring ‘this is my resurrection day.’” Check out this incredible new album from Rend Collective today on iTunes and pick up the Original Master MultiTracks and instrument parts in RehearsalMix, now available here on MultiTracks.com.

New MultiTracks from Rend Collective - "Rescuer (Good News)"

Tuesday, October 31, 2017

"Rescuer (Good News)" is the first new single from Rend Collective's upcoming album Good News, which is set to release on January 19.  “There's a lot of bad news out there, but no matter what we have good news, and that good news has a name: Jesus Christ. Today there is nothing more powerful we can do in the darkness, in the bleakness, then proclaim the good news, then proclaim the gospel, and that’s why we wrote this song," says band member Gareth Gilkeson. "The good Lord came to seek and save and maybe that’s a message you need to hear today. Maybe you need to know that you can be rescued. Maybe you just need to celebrate the fact that you have been rescued. Jesus is our rescuer, and there’s good news in Him."  "Rescuer (Good News)" will have worshippers everywhere rejoicing in the freedom we have because of Jesus' saving grace.  Download your copy of the single today on iTunes and find the MultiTracks and instrument parts in RehearsalMix here on MultiTracks.com.
