New Hymn from Craig Rigney - "Come Thou Fount"

Tuesday, March 27, 2018

Following up on his album, Hymn Sessions: Be My Glory Ever, Austin-based worship leader Craig Rigney has released a brand new hymn arrangement of "Come Thou Fount."  "I love old hymns," Craig explains.  "I believe worship in the church encompasses both old and new, remembering and responding to what God has done (much like the "ebenezer" the song talks about) and looking to the future with expectation and hope, celebrating all we have in Christ."

Indie Showcase - Hymn Sessions: Be My Glory Ever by Craig Rigney

Wednesday, April 19, 2017

This week, we are excited to feature Hymn Sessions: Be My Glory Ever by Austin-based pastor, artist, and worship leader Craig Rigney as our Indie Showcase.  In this new project, Craig recreates classic hymns such as "Grace Greater Than Our Sin," "My Jesus I Love Thee," and "Victory In Jesus," and presents them in a new creative way while keeping them true to the heart, message, and sound of the originals.  He shares, "I have always had a deep appreciation for the writers and the way that they were so skilled to communicate deep truths and theology through song in beautiful and creative ways, and how these hymns often came from deep personal experiences and raw prayers from past believers. Over and over these songs communicate the gospel and our need for Jesus, and I love that and want to do the same. To me, these songs are timeless." If you are looking for some fresh new hymn arrangements to share with your congregations, we encourage you to check out Hymn Sessions: Be My Glory Ever, now available on iTunes.  "I hope these songs are both familiar and fresh to the listeners," Craig concludes, "and will stir believers of today to the same response to Jesus as it did in past generations."
