Gateway Worship Voices is the self-titled debut project of a new brand that highlights the established and rising voices of the Gateway Worship community. This new release celebrates the female worship leaders, worship pastors, and artists that lead worship for over 35,000 members of Gateway Church with thousands more online each weekend. Gateway Worship Voices launched the album this past weekend in front of more than 12,000 women who were in attendance of the 2016 Pink Impact Conference at the Fort Worth Convention Center. It features three new original songs along with updated arrangements of some of Gateway Worship's most loved favorites.
We are excited to bring you the MultiTracks from this project. "Every Battle" is one of the new originals, written by Rita Springer and Bethel Music's Kalley Heiligenthal. It praises God's sovereignty and greatness, of which none can compare. Offering Him our complete trust, the chorus firmly declares His might, "You are high, high and lifted up, strong and mighty enough, You are King. I hide, covered by Your wings. It's there You fight for me and every battle, every battle is Yours." "Oh Father" offers up the words of The Lord's Prayer with a pointed intensity and an atmospheric sound that reflects a sense of reverence in approaching the Father and seeking His will in our lives. Gateway Worship Voices also features a new version of "You Are Good," which originally appeared on Gateway Worship's 2010 release, Wake Up the World. Led by Kari Jobe, this anthem highlights the goodness of God and praises Him for His kindness and mercy, "You are good, You are good, You are good and Your mercy is forever." Worshippers will be reminded of God's faithfulness as they declare, "Your kindness is forever, Your goodness is forever, Your mercy is forever."
