CATEGORIES: News, Home Page, New Releases
Serving under the direction of Tim Hughes, Luke Hellebronth serves as Worship Pastor at Holy Trinity, Brompton, London. Hailing from the UK, Hellbronth released a full worship album on Integrity Music titled Stand Up. His journey of worship leadership began in a small group while he was a music student at Trinity College of Music in London, UK. The group worship leader broke her arm which led to Hellebronth being asked to lead for his very first time. Years of mentorship from his arrival in London in 2003 to today led him to go from a player on his church worship team to becoming a Worship Pastor and world traveler representing Worship Central and Alpha. Musically speaking, Stand Up sounds like the coolest vibes from the 80's are remade for a modern worshipping church. Worship leaders should check out songs like "Ready for You" bring out rich, pulsing synth textures underneath a singable prayer crying out to God our commitment to be ready: "Jesus we are ready for you." On "Spirit Break Out" simple guitar tones hover over tracks full of interesting delay effects. With a signature simplicity in styling, Hellebronth leads us to sing "Spirit break out, break our walls down, Spirit break out, heaven come down." There's a lot of delayed guitar and interesting drum patterns in this album to grab the listeners attention while remaining approachable for any congregation. Be sure to check out the title track, "Stand Up," which calls us to worship "when we don't know what to do, our eyes will be fixed on you."   Stand Up / Luke Hellebronth   [youtube_sc url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2ELfl4lC-8"]
