It Is Finished is a brand new release from Antioch Live, the worship ministry of Antioch Community Church in Waco, TX. The album was produced by Jeremy Edwardson, who has worked with such artists as Jesus Culture, Kari Jobe, and Bethel Music. Associate worship pastor, Owen Wible, commented, "I think the main theme running throughout the album is the power of the Gospel and the simplicity of what Jesus did for us on the cross and how we have freedom because of His sacrifice. There are many songs that are focused on the message of the Gospel and what that means for us, and our response to that is to give God glory in praise and worship. We’re going back to the simple truth of the Gospel and then out of that our hearts respond in worship. I think that’s the message we want this album to portray."
"How Great You Are" is a passionate song that shares what Jesus did on the cross so we would be able to come into God's presence. It builds as the Gospel is presented, rejoicing in Jesus's resurrection and offering Him glory, honor, and praise. The chorus proclaims, "So sings my soul of my Savior's love. And I lift my voice. How great You are!" "To You Be The Glory" is a song of adoration and worship, speaking of how great Jesus is and offering all we are to Him: "You can have my life. You can have it all. You can have my heart. All I am is Yours!" The title track, "It Is Finished" is a powerful anthem of the Gospel, giving praise to Jesus for his sacrifice with the chorus repeating, "Hallelujah, He has done it all! Our Messiah, everlasting king. Hallelujah, there upon the cross, our sin was crucified once and for all."
