After spending the day testing Playback Intro & Playback Pro on iOS 8.3, we’ve found some fairly large bugs that cause issues with the app. This update causes the track faders to become stuck and un-responsive. The update also seems to affect the function of the Auto-Fade button.
Because of this-If you haven’t upgraded to iOS 8.3 yet-we suggest waiting. Playback Intro and Pro are functioning properly on devices running iOS 8.2 and earlier and we’ve determined the issues seem to be related to iOS 8.3 only.
To remedy this issue we’ve submitted Playback 2.0 to Apple with the appropriate bug fixes. We’ve asked for an expedited review in hopes to release the update before the weekend. In the meantime if you have rehearsal before then here’s a few tips to make it through:
- Only load in the tracks you need for each song.
- Avoid using the Auto-Fade button
- Avoid adjusting levels of tracks in the app
We apologize greatly for the inconvenience this may have caused. Just know we’ve been working non-stop since we’ve discovered the bug to fix it and try and provide a work around in the meantime.
