Saints Alive is a brand new worship band based in Nashville, TN. Consisting of Justin Owens on vocals and guitar, and Jessica Justice on vocals and keys, Saints Alive brings new music to the worship community with their two new singles "Fully Alive." and "Age To Age."
"Age to Age," written by Justin Owens and Chris Clayton, is a powerful worship anthem that declares the sovereign, eternal power of God. God IS, WAS, and WILL ALWAYS BE. "I’ve had the music for this song since summer of 2017 and during that time, I struggled with finding the right words. I knew I wanted to sing “Forever You Will Reign”, but the pieces weren’t falling into place. It wasn’t until a scheduled write with Chris later in the fall that things took off. I showed him the idea for the song and he loved it. We had the song written within a couple of hours. More than anything, I was excited to demo it and sing it at the top of my lungs! I knew there was something powerful in the words and melody of this song. There’s nothing greater than simply declaring God’s eternal character at the top of your lungs." Justin shares.
The band's other new single, "Fully Alive," written by Justin Owens, Chris Clayton, and Michael Farren, is an intimate song of surrender. Justin explains, "Scripture says that we have been saved by grace through faith, not by anything we’ve done, but as a gift from God. How often do we forget that we’ve been given that saving grace, and our spiritual life struggles as a result. We wander from God, we neglect His voice, and we attempt to hold things together on our own. When we finally come to our knees in surrender, acknowledging our need for God, and truly accept that we have all we need in the free and undeserving gift of God’s Grace, then we can truly live like we’re Fully Alive."
