10,000 Fathers is a worship school based in Atlanta, Georgia, that is called to equip and disciple men and women whose hearts are oriented toward worship and creativity. Over the last few years, their community has been recording and releasing worship songs that they hope would bless people and churches from all nations. Today, they have released the first of 3 upcoming EPs entitled Adventure, EP 1. The team, which includes core members Aaron Keyes, Micah Massey, David Walker, and Cameron Walker shares, "We believe God has always been inviting his children into a wild adventure. An adventure that has no concern for the destination yet with every high and low unknown turn on the journey we discover there is Good Father who is with us every step of the way. These songs are humble expressions of our worship and what we believe to be another step in the adventure for the church and communities worldwide."
"Lion of Judah" praises the incredible might of Jesus and testifies of His sovereignty. It emphasizes His power and authority over all and describes His character as He goes before us, "You can't be tamed, You're not safe. You're dangerous. But You are good, oh Lion of Judah. You fight for us, You have won victorious. Hallelujah, Lion of Judah." Full of lyrical imagery and catchy instrumental hooks, this song glorifies the Savior with a sense of awe and exaltation. "Our Refuge" examines another aspect of God's character, as a refuge and hiding place. He is the One we can rely on for strength and shelter in all circumstances and it is in Him that we find our hope. "More Times Than Not" is another powerful anthem that focuses on how our faith can be strong though there are times when we can go through periods when we struggle with sin. Comparing these times to the situations of specific people in the Bible, the song explodes into rejoicing that in spite of our failures, God's grace covers us, "But Your grace is so much greater than all of my failure. Your love is running deeper than the stain of my sin." Each of these songs will truly resonate with worshippers as they glorify our great God.
