Born and initially raised in Chile, Michael Monroe is an emerging worship artist from the Seattle area, where he regularly leads worship for, and writes music with his home church, Canyon Hills. Michael’s unique style draws from a rich sonic blend of organic, digital, and atmospheric elements that combine with potent, poetic lyricism, seeking to catalog a multi-dimensional worship journey. While originally writing songs for the Church exclusively, he now writes songs for every day and expresses this through the lens of navigating his own faith journey. Michael explores more difficult topics of lament and struggling through faith, while holding hope and joy in tension.
